Sure I could spend my free time searching for cheap CDs of the Jam and the Damned and just be a fan, or I could get off my ass, haul some gear, and start a band. Didn’t really mean for that to rhyme, just turned out that way. Looking for a better way to spend my midlife crisis. Grew up on early-mid 90s punk and have since grown to admire the 70s and 80s classics as well. Currently I’m really into The Dickies and the Vibrators. Sounds gross, but I love those bands. Plus the Stranglers. Sick! I can playa strong rhythm guitar, a decent bass or some high energy drums. Looking for others around 40 who aren’t ready to let go of the punk rock teenage daydream. Ideally someone who can write good catchy shit and has a practice space.
