Why is China treated with kid gloves?

At the United Nations, W.H.O., and all 'Climate summits', China is considered a "poor/developing nation", so they get huge breaks. Being a 'poor/developing nation' has many benefits for China: While America has been fighting climate change by reducing our manufacturing volume for 40 years, China doesn't have to comply with ANY environmental regulations until 2030. Until that time, China is making HUGE amounts of money producing energy, doing the work and manufacturing things like WE should be. America became the strongest, richest nation on Earth because of our MANUFACTURING. Now we let China do all that. America has left our economy on the hanger, while we sit back and watch China pollute as much as they want to and make huge profits. Here's some information about China that everyone should realize: China is the biggest MANUFACTURING nation in the world. China has the BIGGEST military in the world. China has the richest ECONOMY in the world. China is the BIGGEST MONEY LENDER in the world -- America borrows money from China !! Did you know that? So, with all these things going for it, I have to ask; WHY is China still considered a 'poor/developing nation' and getting all the breaks??
