Description

Regina (1-2 year old Lab boxer mix) had been at the shelter since June, currently the longest resident, so we decided to foster her. Her adoption fee is sponsored so there is no charge to an approved home. Regina is a loving soul. She enjoys playing with my 10 year old nephew. SHe’s good with my tiny 13-year-old dachshund. She Stays in the fenced yard.. she has had no accidents inside (I have a dog door and she uses it). She’s clean in a crate. Regina really has a wonderful temperament. Spending most of her young life in the shelter there’s still a few house manners that we’re working on but those are quickly improving. We can’t say it enough, she’s really a great dog. She loves to snuggle and get pets, go on walks or jogs, sleep on the bed lol and play in the yard with other dogs and older kids. The only reason we can figure out that she’s been passed over so many times, and her kennel mates have been adopted is because the wrinkles on her forehead make her look unhappy. Yes, she has a resting bitch face but it’s an adorable one! And she is truly a friendly happy girl. Regina is spayed, micro chipped and has all of her vaccinations. All she needs now is a forever home! If you have any questions about Regina please feel free to contact me. For information on adopting her contact or go to the Joplin, Humane Society . Shelter description: Regina is a 1 - 2 yr old female Lab mix. She has a high energy level, so she will need plenty of daily exercise. She is loose and wiggly when greeting, and likes to sit by her person for snuggles and kisses. Regina does pull on a leash, but this can be resolved with obedience training. She is food motivated and knows the command sit. She mixes well in a kennel with other dogs and is indifferent towards cats in the shelter environment.
