We are looking to re-home our parrot. If you don’t currently have (or have never had) a large parrot, I’ll stop you here……please look elsewhere, and do not contact us. Tye Dye is a 5-year-old Blue and Gold Macaw. We have raised him since he was hatched. He is a sweetheart, but he is becoming increasingly unhappy in our home. As the family situation has changed (older children --some no longer living in the home), and some health issues have appeared, we can no longer give him the time he requires and deserves. Along with the bird, we will include two large perches, a carrier, and two large cages. We are asking $750.00. The price is nowhere near what he (and the entire package) is worth. We want to know that he is going to a home that will take him seriously, so the price is the price.
