Windowsill Herbs Saturday, January 21, 9:30 a.m.-11:00 a.m. Instructor: Robert Bownden You can grow your herbs indoors by planting a windowsill herb garden. Many herb plants grow quite well in containers and require only minimal care. However, there are some extra considerations when growing them indoors and Robert Bowden will help answer your questions and offer several tips to help make your indoor garden successful. All class participants will leave with a packet of herb seeds.  Robert Bowden recently retired as Executive Director of Leu Gardens after nearly three decades. Earlier he was the Executive Director of the Atlanta Botanical Garden and Director of Horticulture of the Missouri Botanical Garden in St. Louis. He is the author of many books including: Florida Fruit & Vegetable Gardening: Plant, Grow, and Harvest the Best Edibles. He also teaches several horticulture classes at Valencia State College.  Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are available to FNGLA Certified Professionals upon request. Participants must withdraw from classes at least five days prior to the start of class in order to receive a full refund or credit. If we must cancel a class, we will make every effort to inform you prior to the class time, and you will receive a full refund or credit. Only those registered for the class will be permitted in the classroom. Childcare services are not provided.
