The Surviving Butterfly Conference is a series of informative events and panels raising awareness on domestic violence. Domestic violence affects women, men and children all over the world. Unfortunately, there are many that have not survived. Melody Willis is "Removing The Mask" and revealing her story on how she survived being in a domestic violence relationship for 15 years. Melody's youngest daughter, Shayanna Gilmore is also Keynote speaker. Shayanna will tell her story of how she grew up witnessing the domestic abuse her mother endured. As the cycle was recreated, Shayanna later became a victim in a domestic violence relationship as well. Come out to hear these powerful testimonies. There will be resources for help and hope available.
