An Interrupted Walk - Wander and Wonder with The Avian RebbeWe'll explore a local park, using our encounters with birds as a way of exploring our own spirituality and encounters with the Divine. We'll talk about the local birds and photo techniques, yes, but more so, this is an opportunity to gaze inwards. We'll listen - intently - to birds and what their songs elicit from within. We'll look - directly - at colors and flying beauty and the images we bring ourselves. This Walk is a mindfulness exercise focused around birds and bird photography. You can certainly add to your life list along the way, but our principal goal will be adding to our own depth rather than external tallies of creatures we've seen. No "birding" experience is required, and our lessons will be open to people of all faiths - or no faiths.
