Please join us for the opportunity to interview with Nursing Leaders from RWJ Somerset to be considered for full-time, part-time and per diem Clinical Care Tech and Patient Monitor positions on all shifts (days, evenings & nights). This is an open interview event so please select a time that works best for you to attend and join us to interview with various nursing leaders within our organization. Please review the job descriptions for each position below prior to registering to ensure this is the right position for you: Clinical Care Tech: Responsibilities: Applicant needs prior experience in patient care area. In this role, you will work under the direction of the RN to provide care to the patients on the unit. Some of the responsibilities include but are not limited to: Taking vital signs, EKGS, performing phlebotomy, assisting or providing patients with bedside care, i.e. bathing, mouth care, skin care. Every other weekend and holiday required.  Qualifications: American Heart Association BLS required. Applicant needs prior experience in patient care area. Schedule flexibility and the ability to work efficiently in a fast paced department is strongly encouraged. Patient Monitor: Responsibilities: Follows all Suicidal Precautions and Close Observation monitoring policies and procedures Observes and reports patient’s conditions, behavior, and complaints to the nurse. Maintains strict patient confidentiality Observes and applies appropriate interventions Maintains a safe and orderly work/patient care environment. Assists patients with daily living activities (i.e.; feeding, dressing patients, showering/bathing). Transfers, escorts, transports, and ambulates patients. Assures patients have correct ID bands. Responds to emergencies in an appropriate manner. Handles and disposes of infectious and hazardous materials per policies and procedures. Maintains standards of behavior as established in the Organizational Ethics Codes of Conduct Policy. Qualifications: American Heart Association CPR/BLS required.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work with patients with a variety of medical and psychological issues.Physical ability to respond to emergencies, and lift 25lbs.If you are interested in and meet the minimum qualifications for either of these positions, please register to attend this event!
