Help turn a neglected floodplain into Riverwalk Atlanta, a future City of Atlanta Park. Join us for our next volunteer event on Sunday, January 31st as we partner with @riverwalkATL to turn a neglected floodplain into a future City of Atlanta Park! Using various garden tools, we will be removing the invasive plant species, privet from the underbrush of the woods. In doing so, we'll help clear the way for a new city park along the Chattahoochee River! So come join us for a Sunday afternoon of basic yard chores all while spending time together in the beautiful outdoors. Participants are required to wear a mask at all times, as well as wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes. Participants should also bring a reusable water bottle and their own water. Due to COVID-19, this event has been limited to a maximum number of 25 participants and will be entirely outside with physical distancing in place. **By signing up for this event you are agreeing to opt-in to receive email communications from Westside Table.
