Description

We are currently fostering a rabbit that was removed from an unsafe home environment. We are in the process of familiarizing them with being handled and housebroken. The name given to them is Boniface "Bon Bon". They seem to react to Bon Bon. They are a male albino (white with red eyes, but blue rings around their irises). Age is unknown, no more than a few years. Litter-box training is going well, and they currently enjoy being held (though they still have a fear of being picked up). They do very well with other rabbits as well as cats and small dogs (no experience with larger dogs). They play tag and hide-n-seek when excited, will also jump onto furniture to sit with you sometimes. They come with a basic sleeping cage, food and water bowls, and some bedding, litter, food (enough for a week or so). They do sleep in the cage, but they do great free roaming. They do chew on anything cardboard/paper that is left out, no sign of chewing on cords yet. They will be ready for adoption on January 12th. if you will still be interested by then. No rehoming fees necessary. The only thing we would ask is to have a brief background of your experience with pets (rabbits specifically) as well as a visual inspection of the living space. This rabbit was kept in its cage 24/7, and the home it was kept in housed a dozen other small animals and was deemed unlivable. To feel confident in adopting BonBon out, we need to know that they aren't being placed back into a similar condition. Email me with any questions. Pictures and videos of BonBon are available if you'd like, and meeting BonBon prior to their adoptable date is possible as well.
