First Step Staffing is looking for individuals for the Reclamation Facility (Sewer Department) in the Orlando area. Looking for individuals who want to grow with the company. Job Description The individual will start as a General laborer and train to move up in the department. See duties below. 1. General Building cleaning and maintenance including janitorial duties Digging trenches to uncover valves and piping 2. Collecting wastewater samples for analysis 3. Performing some wastewater process control analysis 4. Cleaning of Biosolids Trailers 5. Cleaning of Biosolids Loading area with Quick Lime present. PPE required 6. Cleaning of Biosolids Parking Area 7. Cleaning of tanks, including confined space areas 8. Skimming and cleaning the Automatic Back Wash Multimedia filters 9. Assisting staff in clean-up of sewage and sludge overflows 10. Assisting Maintenance staff in leak repairs 11. Storing hoses and loose equipment during storm preparations 12. Moving furniture 13. Detailed painting 14. Construction clean-up duties 15.
