Golden Girl Miss Allie is looking for her retirement home! She may be a little older than our other dogs but that just means she's already learned how to be a good girl! She enjoys going for walks and relaxing in the rays of the sun. She still enjoys playing with toys and prancing around the play yard but loves attention from people the most! When you say her name, she does a little dance that makes her nubby tail wiggle! Allie is a beautiful girl who deserves a family as wonderful as she is! An adoption counselor will be in contact with you following the submission of your application. If approved, they will arrange a meet and greet at one of our monthly trips to Chesapeake or at our shelter. Visits to the shelter are by appointment only, as we are a volunteer-run rescue organization. All PAWS dogs are spayed/neutered, and current on the vaccinations appropriate for their age. Those who are confirmed over 4 months old or older will have their rabies vaccinations. Age permitting, dogs/puppies are tested for heartworm. All are treated with flea/tick prevention and given internal parasite preventative on a regular basis. All are microchipped (for their safety and the adopter's peace of mind) as part of the adoption fee.
