In Curtis Park/ Rino / Five Points. We practice once or twice a week. We are a newly formed band and have one gig under our belt. Mostly seasoned musicians. Our name is Can Opener. Our influences are triangulated between Motorhead, and Iron Maiden, and more recent stuff like Death from Above 1979, and IDLES. We're looking for a lead or rhythm guitar player to accompany our other guitarist. We have very low drama and just want to create and play and record great music. We have a good time playing together and learning and are also looking for good influence and a good listener in addition to a great player. If you like one of those drop me a line and we will coordinate times for you to come in and play. I don't have recordings to share at this time so I hope the influences give you enough of an idea. If you connect with one of those or something in that area then I think we have a chance at connecting. I'm also going to do a little hunting in the posts as well. We think the best music should be fun and hard and dark and sexy. Let's see if we can pull it off.
