Music school graduate offering private lessons in the home or online. I have a wide range of musical interests and I'm willing to work with you to get goals accomplished. Approaches including music reading, learning by ear or any mix of both. I believe in solid but flexible technique. No bogus claims about how you're going to master guitar in 45 minutes or how I used to tour with Slayer. Tutoring in music theory and ear training also available. I'm familiar with theory and aural skills programs, and I can help with test prep. I'm undercutting the going rate at $20 for 1/2 hr. and $30 for 1 hr. lessons. +$5 if I travel. Specializing in Jazz, Funk, and Ragtime.
