METAL!!! Please let there be some GOOD metal musicians around that can actually write and show up. I’m a bassist that has been trying to put together an original band but it seems nobody reliable plays and writes heavy duty. If it doesn’t just about rip your head off with the power, it’s not the level I want. Like can anybody play double bass drum that’s also capable of intricate playing? Are there guitarists out there who write great chugging grooves but have a range of dynamics? In different keys that don’t all sound the same? I would like (?) to try again to assemble a band instrumentally first and audition singers once there’s something to sing to. I envision a band that is so strong that everybody has to move to it. My influences that apply to this project include old Korn, Static X, Tool, Slayer, Led Zeppelin, Pantera and Sepultura although my influences include a lot more.
