Hi there, two guitarists and a bassist seeking a drummer. Big fans of both catchiness and noise. I’d say the songwriting foundation is somewhere between 90s American indie (a la Pavement, Wilco) and Britpop (Blur, Pulp), with healthy doses of influence from shoegaze, post punk, krautrock, dream pop, noise, slowcore, etc. etc. It’s hard to make a good comparison because (1) I’m not objective about my own music and (2) I don’t try to write things that sound like anyone in particular. That said, maybe like the less punky side of early Parquet Courts, or a less keys-heavy Gorillaz. No idea if those are good comparisons; you can be the judge.
