Job Overview The El Arroyo team is looking for someone who is dependable, self-motivated, innovative, and comfortable working in a fast paced environment. You will be responsible for the daily supervision, facilitation, and assistance of an array of shipping and warehouse management functions. These functions include but are not limited to receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the warehouse. This position requires physical movement of lifting packages from 5lbs up to 70lbs and moving around packages throughout the day. Additionally, you will be expected to maintain communication with certain members of the El Arroyo team; be proactive in keeping them abreast of the warehouse needs, issues, and daily output and remaining items to be shipped. Responsibilities - Supervise and Assist with unloading trucks and receiving in merchandise when it arrives at the warehouse - Sort and organize incoming merchandise in proper warehouse locations - Assist in pulling stock from the warehouse to be shipped to customers - Assist in packaging up all customer orders, including direct to consumer and wholesale, to be shipped out - Enforce and Maintain a safe and clean work environment - Assist in physical counting of inventory and regular stock checks - Troubleshoot warehouse management system issues Required: - High School Diploma or GED required - Minimum of 3 year warehouse experience Desired Skills and Experience: - Computer skills are necessary to fulfill orders and maintain inventory - Prior warehouse and fulfillment experience preferred - Forklift/pallet jack operation experience - Minor construction experience *Principals only.
