Description

Try your hand at painting and carving into ceramics. You'll choose a greenware piece (cups, flower pots, bowls, etc), colored ceramic slips to paint with, and carving tools to then design thru the slips. Often called Sgraffito, the carving away of slip to reveal and add drama to the surface of ceramics is a dynamic and meditative process that all creative types will love. All pieces will be food safe, dishwasher safe, and microwaveable once complete. (Pieces take 3-4 weeks to run thru the firing process.)
