Jerletha has a bachelor’s degree in Child Development and Family Studies with a minor in Early Childhood Intervention from Stephen F. Austin State University. She owned and operated a family childcare center, Nurturing Gifts Infant and Toddler Center, for 15 years. Jerletha is the founder of ADFW Family Child Care Network and JayMac Enterprise a Consulting Firm for Family Child Care CEO's. Jerletha has 18 years of experience in Early Care Childhood Education. Jerletha has a special interest in the economic mobility of women in the field of early care in education with a primary focus on Family Child Care. Jerletha coaches’ family childcare entrepreneurs on leadership, building their brands, and scaling their family child care business. Jerletha hosts family child care retreats, conferences and workshops. Jerletha has given presentations and keynotes addresses at local, state, and national events.
