Welcome to the 2023 February Freeze! This year we are giving our participants two options: This year all participants have the opportunity to participate in person! On Sunday, February 12, 2023 the February Freeze will be held at the Founder's Park Shelter. Race will start at noon, round trip starting at Founder's Park Shelter to the turnaround point at Sioux Park. Event refreshments will be available and door prizes will be drawn immediately after the race. Winners will be announced after the race. If you are a prize winner and participating virtually we will email or call to notify you of your prize. Prizes will be held for one week from drawing. You also have the option to participate and complete the February Freeze 5K Fun Run/Walk virtually! This means all you have to do is register here, and then walk 3.10 miles on your own, anywhere! This could be on a treadmill, on a bike path, where ever you'd prefer. If you decide to participate virtually, we only ask that you take a "selfie" or get a picture of yourself completing the race and send it in to [email protected]. All pictures submitted by or on February 12th, 2023, will be entered in our day of race raffle prize drawing. Long sleeve t-shirts are available to purchase at Cardiac Rehab in Monument Health for $20 (Rapid City Location, please use Entrance #6). Hours include: 6AM-2PM on Tuesday's, Thursday's & Saturday's, 8AM-5:15PM on Monday's, Wednesday's, & Friday's. On February 7th and 8th from 11:00-1:00 there will be t-shirt sales in the Nourish lobby at Monument Health. You may call 605-755-8208 regarding t-shirts and any questions.
