FLAVAR x ICI PRESENTS: ROCK THE BLOCKFLAVAR would never exist if it wasn't for community. It is with this mission in mind that we have teamed up with Inner City Innovators in support of their initiatives to keep our youth free and alive past age 25.This MLK Weekend, FLA VAR & ICI will host a community day featuring an array of activities, music, food and more. Let's bring awareness and cultivate the culture needed to ensure that every young person in our community has the support needed to exist FREE and ALIVE Past Age 25. ABOUT INNER CITY INNOVATORS: For nearly a decade, Inner City Innovators has been providing mentorship and programming that empowers and inspires inner-city youth. This non-profit began as a movement of individuals who were born, raised, and remained in low-income neighborhoods, and grew tired of the conditions plaguing their communities. Not only will a portion of the proceeds from No Shade go to ICI, but ICI will also conduct their annual Youth to Mentor Graduation on stage. This is to serve as an encouragement for their youth and an invitation for all our guests to volunteer and get involved. Real change only happens when the people who need it lead, so real change won’t happen without YOU!
