Join us for a celebration of Marcie Herman-Gidden's new book, Unloose My Heart: A Personal Reckoning with the Tangled Roots of my Southern Tree, and panel discussion featuring the author in conversation with national speaker Lisa McNair and Dr. Richard Walker, the first African-American student to attend Ramsay High School. This event is co-hosted by Alabama Humanities Alliance, the Beth El Civil Rights Experience and Klein Arts & Culture.
