Description
Alright...Bear with me. I am a bass player. For no apparent reason I recently bought a synth pedal for my bass. Now I'd like to mess around with it. I generally listen to powerpop ala Jellyfish and Superdrag. For this project I was thinking more along the lines of a band from Chicago whom you've probably never heard of called, "Oh My God"....Kinda heavy, kinda quirky organ/piano based indi type pop. My thought is that we get together once a week-ish to jam (aka blast out riffs) and if we can come up with something cool, we can develop those riffs/grooves into songs and record them. I'm not interested in playing shows. I'm 51 years old and after 8PM I don't want to lift anything heavier than a bag of chips. I also get progressively crankier the later it gets, but I digress...So if this sounds interesting to you, please drop me a line and we can discuss it further. I'll include some links of stuff below.
