Description

Hey everybody! I'm a seasoned electric guitarist / singer / songwriter with years of recording & touring experience under my belt, and I'm trying to put together a trio to play exactly what it says in the title: heavy, bluesy rock & roll. In a nutshell, I'm looking for my very own Mitch Mitchell & Noel Redding. The main influences for this project are groups like The Jimi Hendrix Experience, The Jeff Beck Group, Bo Diddley, Howlin' Wolf, Elmore James, Mick Taylor era Stones, early ZZ Top, early J. Geils Band. I also dig a lot of modern bands like: The Kills, The Dead Weather, BRMC, The Black Angels, Royal Blood, Gary Clark, Jr.. Anything that's got some vibe and attitude. I write a lot of songs, so the ultimate goal is to do originals, but it would be cool to throw some covers into the mix, or even do some gigs of all covers just to get paid. I'm not trying to "get famous" or go on tour for half the year, but I am definitely serious and looking to practice at least once a week & play good gigs as often as possible. What I'm looking for in players: just be cool, be responsible and have some chops. Age doesn't matter- as long as you're old enough to act like an adult or young enough to still get as excited about playing as you did when you were a teenager. What I'm NOT looking for: no drama, no over-inflated egos, no addictions. Other than that, I'm happy to hear from anyone who wants to reach out. Thanks for reading!
