Drummer seeking bandmates for original music

Experienced drummer looking to create original music, record and eventually gig occasionally with similarly experienced guitar(s), bass, keys (maybe) and vocals. Have played in several original bands over the years. Currently play in a cover band, and intend to continue that as well. Looking to create music in the vein of some of my favorite bands: U2, The Cure, Echo & the Bunnymen, Joy Division, R.E.M., but also bring in other influences as well. I have a few song bits and pieces to potentially start with, but would like to hear what others might want to collaborate on too. If interested, please reply with a bit about your musical background, and samples of your playing and/or singing. I have playing samples that I can make available as well. I do not sing.
