Description
Cover band "Trixy Tang" is seeking a lead guitarist to fill the spot within the next few months if possible. We are well established in Michigan, and while we do the Grand Rapids / Surrounding areas bar scene periodically throughout the Winter, we mainly play beer tents, festivals, private parties, weddings, and outdoor shows in the Summer months. We have a great following, and we take a professional approach to what we do while ensuring we all have fun which is most important. Our song list is primarily rock / 80's / 90's with some rare country or 70's songs. We have always been known or labeled as an 80's style party band, but we have incoporated a bigger mix of 90's, etc. Key things to know if you'll be a good fit: 1. 4 piece band / no rhythm guitar 2. We use some backing tracks for keyboard songs. 3. Looking for someone younger as we are in our 30's, but it's not a requirement. The right attitude/look and level of professionalism is much more important. 4. NO DRUGS or BEING DRUNK at shows 5. We all make equal pay in this band, and the band makes good money 6. Must be willing to chip in for band expenses if need be. We have a van that is dedicated to the band, and it requires occasional maintenance, or any issues with PA / lighting / production, etc. you get the point. We are a team 7. We like to put on a good show. Please dress the part (no you don't need to wear spandex or a wig unless we are doing a tribute show of some sort, which happens occasionally) 8. We have a full length album out that we released in 2019. We kind of gave up on the original songs thing, but it's something we wouldn't mind revisiting in the future. 9. We are looking for a permanent member, no fill ins. Please, if this is not for you, do not waste my time or yours. 10. We aim to rehearse once or so every couple of weeks, but with someone new, we would like to get as tight as possible before shows this Summer. 11. Gigs stay fairly busy in the summer, and Fall and we don't play as often in the winter or spring. Let me know if you might be a solid fit and I'd love to talk over the phone. We aren't in a major hurry. Our current guitarist is leaving end of Jan. Thank you! Rock on
