My partner and I recently adopted this sweet 8 month old lab. I use a service dog and was hoping to train him to take her place when she retires. He is a loving lap dog who loves other dogs, kids, adults, strangers, etc. Curious about cats until he gets scratched. We are in our mid 60's and this sweet boy is way too much for us to handle. I will be going into the hospital for a knee replacement and my partner just can't handle this boy at all. He really needs a very high fence or electric fence (he was used to that from the people we got him from). He is a houdini and will chew through a collar or leash if he wants to run. A farm or a very active family would be ideal for him. I've taken him to the dog park a few times and he loves it. He thinks the puddles are swmming pools...typical lab. He is crate trained and walks well on a leash but loves to just get out and run. Must have vet references. No breeders or flippers.
