Healthy Microgreens

Growing Microgreens is easy, fun and a perfect green-thumb activity for the winter. You will learn how to prepare your seeds, containers, and soil medium and understand planting methods and watering techniques. This in-person program includes lots of tasting and the preparation of your own container to take home and grow.
Cost: $20/person. Includes the class and your own container to take home!
Caryl Watterson is the owner of BrynTeg Farm LLC of Ashippun, WI. She provides produce directly to individuals and families on a weekly or biweekly basis through her Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) business. Her produce has been included in a local artisan grocery delivery service, the Great Lakes Great Apple Crunch school program, and incorporated in the menus of local farm-to-fork restaurants.
BrynTeg Farm
Farmer Caryl desires to teach the next generation about good food and farming practices. Putting action behind words, farm-to-school endeavors have included coordination with Sprouting Together Inc., presentations for the Master Gardener Youth Program, on-line streaming education during 2020 and 2021 and an upcoming agricultural teen program in the beginning stages.
This program is hosted by the Waukesha County Green Team's Permaculture and Gardening Group. We are residents of the Waukesha County area who enjoy gardening and learning more about how we can incorporate permaculture ideas into our landscape, gardens, homes and lifestyle.

This is an in-person workshop hosted in the Community Room at Waukesha State Bank, Oconomowoc. It is on the lower level.
