Come early if you want extra recreation time! If you need financial assistance, MassLand can cover your day pass. Ski and snowshoe rental and ski lesson costs will be generously provided by The Trustees.
Calling all members of the MassLand community! Join us for an afternoon/evening networking event hosted by the Early Conservation Career Network. Enjoy the 3,000-acre rolling terrain and 25 miles of groomed ski trails of Notchview Reservation on cross-country skis or snowshoes. Afterward, join your fellow ECCN members in the wood-stove-warmed ski lodge for a presentation by Julie Richburg, Lead Ecologist, Inland Natural Resources at The Trustees (of Reservations). Julie will present on The Trustees' forest stewardship plans for climate resiliency and adaptation at Notchview and across the state. ECCN will offer food and drinks during the presentation.
What to bring: Dress in layers (base, middle, and outer). Bring warm gloves, a hat, a small backpack, water, and a snack. Consider sunglasses and sunscreen.
