King LEONARDO The Cat -- AVAILABLE For ADOPTION From Us At WAR (Waseca Animal Rescue) NOTICE: Leonardo IS a longhaired constant shedder & so he must be brushed for two or three minutes daily both to protect your clothes & furniture from the floating cat hair AND to keep him from having lumpy wadded fur "elflocks," especially around his tail. Leo is to be adopted by you as ONLY an indoor cat, unless you have a completely fenced-in outside space for him with an OPEN cat hole leading indoors. You must agree to a background criminal-record check, based on your DOB & your CURRENT state driving license/identification number. Also, we need the name & telephone of your veterinarian AND we are requesting a $100.00 fee, to cover his neutering & immunizations given him in Fall 2021; you will receive that paperwork along with King Leonardo, when you take him to HIS new home with you. & So, where does the story begin of Leonardo (aka "Sam, The Lion"...or, sometimes, King LARGO) begin? On 10 May 2021 he was born with his three sibs, Sweetie Man, Banditto & Nibbets, The Princess, to a beautiful, petite longhaired cat with smoky gray & pink (!) fur, named The Beautiful Wasilissa...& NOW going on only seventeen months later Leonardo IS become a handsome, longhaired gingerman cat with a full LONG plume for a tail. In fact Leonard The King is a LARGE (going on 16 pounds!) HUG-ME of a cat, a walking PURR-MOTOR & a GREAT big barrel of love, playful AND affectionate. He is litter-trained & he likes catnip, of course & he will, well sort of...a little, maybe...play with a laser pointer - But, NOTHING for Leonardo beats sitting on YOUR lap! Althpugh a nice window in the Winter sunlight so he can watch "Bird & Squirrel Tee Vee" will be just right up his street....
