Rehoming gorgeous, friendly and big black cat

Description

I am heartbroken to have to rehome my beautiful black kitty Max. He's about 5 years old (not exactly sure as I adopted him from someone else). I would keep him for the rest of his life if I could, but I have to move in a month and I am not allowed to take him to my new place, and no friends or family can take him in for me. I don't want him to end up in a shelter if at all possible, so this is the best I can do. =( I am not exaggerating in any way when I say that Max is the kindest, gentlest, cuddliest cat I have ever met in my life. He is more like a chill dog than a cat, honestly (and almost the same size! he's a very big boy and I believe he might have some Maine Coon in his genes). Forget about all the stereotypes of cats being jerks; this boy will be coming up to you all the time, begging for pets and scritches, and even BELLY RUBS (yes, he actually likes them!). If you try to walk by him without giving him attention, he'll actually try and grab you with his paws. :3 Despite this, it's perfectly okay to leave him alone for a while as well, if you need to go to work (I would work 10 hour shifts with no issue when I got home). He just wants to be near someone and get love whenever he can. He's also very active and playful and loves chasing string and playing on his cat-tree playset. Max is a good eater and drinker and I've never had a problem giving him any kind of popular dry food or treats, and he is fully litterbox trained (and has used a few different ones with no issue). He is neutered and has no medical conditions that I am aware of. He is gentle with other animals as well, and gets along with both cats and dogs (he even sometimes plays with my beagle, because they're almost the same size, lol). Max is one of the greatest pets I've ever had and he will be a wonderful addition to your family, I promise you with every fiber of my being. I love him with all of my heart and I wish things were different. But now, all I want is for him to safe and happy for the rest of his life. I am also rehoming my other cat, a much smaller tortie female cat (~3 years, spayed, also indoor). Please see my other post for pictures. I would be thrilled if they both go to the same home, even though they don't like each other very much lol (Max is never aggressive to her, but she's always wary of him). At least they know each other and would be more comfortable in a new home with the other one there. If you are interested and are serious about adopting a cat for the rest of his life, the best way to reach me is via email (through this posting). I may ask some questions about your living situation just to make sure he's going to a good home. I can give you a cat tree playset if you have a van/truck/SUV (I may not be able to take it apart), a litter box, a plastic dish for food, some plush toys, and I might be able to give you a cat water fountain (if my other cat gets rehomed first). I can also give you some food and treats for him. If you have ANY questions, please don't hesitate to contact me. Thank you so much for helping me save my beautiful boy. <3
