Faith at Work gives local professionals of faith an opportunity to gather, network, eat, learn, pray, and discuss ways in which they can live out their faith and advance Kingdom work in their workplace. At the January luncheon, attendees will hear from special guest speaker Lakresha Ferguson who will discuss 'Praying for your business'. Agenda 11:30-11:45: Networking 11:45-11:50: Welcome/Prayer 11:50-11:55: Sponsor Highlight 11:55-12:20: Meal and Speaker 12:20-12:45: Q&A with Lakresha Ferguson 12:45-12:50: Roundtable Prayer for our City 12:505-1:00: Announcements and Close Post-Luncheon Networking About the Speaker Lakresha Ferguson is the current Senior Operations Manager for Midwest Vocational Rehabilitation Services, LLC, based out of Oklahoma City and currently expanding in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, where they provide vocational expert services throughout the United States, through a federal contract with the Social Security Administration. In this role, she helps to manage and oversee the day-to-day operations for all processes to be completed successfully. Lakresha is also the creator of The Single Season With LAF, where she is currently encouraging those who are in their own single season of life come know, appreciate, and ultimately grow to love who they are in this season. Through various topics and engagements, she shares ideas, thoughts, and some tips on how to see this season of life as a time for refining, renewing, and reinventing who they are. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Missouri Southern State University, Joplin, MO, and has extended education that was received from Oklahoma State University, Oklahoma City, OK. Lakresha loves to give back by volunteering and has provided services at a local medical clinic through Mercy Hospital. She is also involved in her local community, by volunteering with nonprofit organizations such as REAL Single Moms, Habitat for Humanity, and other organizations. Additionally, she serves as Vice-Chair for the Edmond PD COPS Council, working with her local police department to help bring greater community relations for the citizens and law enforcement. She has a daughter who is a freshman in college and plays basketball at a JUCO in Oklahoma, and that she loves dearly.
