we have some poems to read, but we also want to build something together. with all of you. how we'll do it is a surprise.  come talk to us about spending all sunday on the porch as praxis. tell us about the homes you've made together and all the hands that helped. about what trinkets you decorate your heart with, about how you water the plants there, and which ones you accidentally let die but won't throw away. who you always leave the light on & the door unlocked for. talk to us about your block & who all over there. about standing barefoot on cement steps. about your heart as a place where people come and are welcome and go and are missed. about ghosts. about home as public and yours still, about home as the sound of a screen door screeching open and slapping shut and laughter afterwards, about building it together.
