I actually reached out for some like minded musicians about 4 months ago. Perhaps I was not as clear as I wanted to be. I am looking for a group of musicians that are on the same page. Nothing worse then forcing a musician to play something he hates..lol. Like asking someone to play dance or disco music....its a horrible situation. Perhaps you can relate. So let me get to my point. I am 61 and have played in a bunch of bands. Grew up listening to everything. I mean EVERYTHING! But as I grow older I like listening to and playing some classic tunes. BUT...I also love a real mix of songs. I don't want to be a band that plays just Rock, or Country..or Blues...or Rock. I believe if you are a creative talented musician. You can do a little of each type or style. If you are willing to expand your song list and try "Something Different". Then this may be for us! Sinatra, Dean Martin,...Clapton.....Freddie King....Etta James..... Patsy Cline....George Jones..... Boggie Woggie Blues.....3 Dog Nite etc etc.50's 60's 70's....If it can be done good. Then we can do it!! I tend to get a million drummers who seem to be plentiful! lol I encourage Ladies to inquire but I would ask....if you do play a instrument. That would be great.
