***PLEASE READ ENTIRE AD IN FULL AND PAY ATTENTION TO THE DETAILS BEFORE APPLYING*** Hello and thank you for your interest in helping High School & Middle School Bands raise money for trips, music, instruments, equipment, etc. Position available in event set up & tear down and order processing. Pay $250 per day plus $10-$50 per event bonus. If you see this ad, the opportunity is still available. We are excited to announce that we are expanding our event based fundraising team (the mattress sale fundraiser) and are looking for a GREAT person or two to add to our already awesome group. What are a few great things about us you ask? 1. We help raise thousands of dollars every day you work for a different amazing high school Band in North and South Carolina. 2. Our events are only on Saturdays and Sundays! The pay is great (you're not just volunteering for a good cause). Our territory stretches from Greensboro, NC to Blythewood, SC and everywhere in between. Reliable Transportation is an absolute must. 3. Our team works very well together, and we have fun at our events. Looking for someone with a positive friendly energy who is VERY reliable. Things we are looking for: 1) A willingness to follow directions and learn. 2) Someone who has a positive personality. No drama please. 3) A punctual hard worker. Duties: Unload/Load metal mattress frames, heavy mattresses and adjustable bases from and into enclosed trailer. You must be physically strong to lift mattresses. Arrive at location at 7:45am on Saturday events and 8:45am on Sunday Events. Departure from location is 6:30pm for Saturday events and 7:30pm for Sunday events. Some events will be close to home and others far. We set up and tear down an entire mattress showroom on time. We sell mattresses from 10am-5pm on Saturday events and 11am-6pm on Sunday events. 3 people per set up/tear down team per event. You are not doing this alone. It takes two hours to set up and about an hour and a half to tear down. You will then process customer orders while engaging in friendly conversation during the sell time. We will train you! We have a fun work atmosphere and want to keep it that way. We typically run 40 events during the school year. Twenty events between February-May and then Twenty events between August-November. We do not run events when school is out or on holiday weekends ever. Summers off! Below this ad is our upcoming event list. The perfect applicant will commit to working all of these events for the next 6 months. You cannot pick and choose which events to work, it’s all or nothing.
