looking for hypoallergenic pup/dog

Looking to complete our family with a furry friend! This past year we lost our 13 year old dog and our 18 year old cat following shortly after.  My kids only remember having furry friends in the home as the dog and cat were here before they were born. About a month ago,  we took in a stray pit mix pup someone dumped. Got her all her shots, dewormed, microchipped, got her a kennel, toys, and fell in love. A week in, we realized my daughter was allergic.  We had a shihtzu before and didn't realize there was a thing such as "hypoallergenic" dogs. Now we know why we had no problems with the shihtzu. Anyway, if you have a dog or pup that is considered hypoallergenic, such as a poodle, shihtzu, schnauzer, schnoodle, doodle, mix, or other,  we have lots of love to give! Thanks for reading!
