I am starting to put together my 2023 team. I am developmentally disabled and need people who can meet challenges to support me in keeping occupied, productive, safe and content. Lazy persons need not apply Fully Reliable car that gets you to work. Patient, positive, kind and personable personality while working, even, if only pretending General Offerings Starting salary range 25-35 per hour depending on what you can do with/for me Regular meritorious increments approximately every three months and/or bonuses Reimbursement for mileage if /when using your car (For yard work drive my vehicle) Free meals offered and bonuses for expenses when needed. Who is Needed and When? I am seeking person(s) now and ongoing for daily living and employment supports in the following areas: Household chores, including cleaning house and doing laundry, medical and other errands, attending social activities, doing small projects and repairs around the house, fixing gardening tools, teaching basic computer skills, teaching basic guitar, Doing all kinds of Yard work (seasonal-typically starts and goes through around March-November-full time and part time persons needed- to drive van and do yard work every day) taking walks and other interests such as going out dancing, gym, community events, etc. Sometimes I just need someone to just shop with or hang out and play Scrabble, Card games, etc especially off season. Hours available 7 days and evenings every week. I live with my Mom who is my program manager and health agent even though I have my own place because I don’t like being alone. I am very sociable but socially awkward. I am a grown man but seem at times like a youngster. I am always eager to learn new things and very capable in some areas. I need more help than I can admit because when you first meet me I “pretend” I am higher functioning than I really am so at first you think that I don’t need much help. Wrong! I do. Processing of my native tongue is faulty thus I must have well spoken English speaking companions who will recognize the need to clarify for me so I can converse, understand and communicate on point. Boredom is punitive to me and I engage in silly behaviors when bored. Being busy doing things is the way to go for me! Do come try to enrich your life and mine by signing on!
