Our goal is to find solutions for our customers.We are looking for a Field Service Technician to join our Kitchen Chemical Services Division, and support Sanico's laundry and warewash customers located in Southern Upstate NY, Mid-Hudson Valley, Middletown, Monticello, Newburgh, Kingston, etc. Qualified applicants living in Sullivan, Orange, Ulster and Dutchess Counties are ENCOURAGED.ABOUT THE JOBThe Field Service Technician plays an important role in Sanico’s value proposition.The primary responsibility associated with the position is to provide effective, responsive technical support for our customer's commercial dish machines and three-base sinks. Our ability to support our customers by providing high-skill, high-touch technical support/service for our customers is an important "value-add" and integral to the overall business relationship.Reporting to the Director, Kitchen Chemical Programs, and in ongoing collaboration with Sanico field sales reps, the Field Service Tech will conduct monthly preventive maintenance checks for Sanico foodservice, warewash and industrial laundry customers to confirm proper dosage settings and dispensing function, to assure optimal machine performance. They will also provide 24/7 on-call technical troubleshooting in the event of unexpected service disruption.On an ad-hoc basis, the Service Technician will also be tasked with supporting the installation of towel/tissue/hand soap dispensers and chemical dilution control systems as necessary.***Equipment servicing will generally be performed on customer-owned and leased commercial dish machines, 3-bay sinks and kitchen sanitation dispensing equipment, along with periodic maintenance at industrial laundry facilities. ***WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:A professional bearing and attitude.A customer-centric focus.Teachable, coachable, humble. Knows how to use a meter.Can process, interpret, apply and retain new information.Takes constructive feedback well.High school diploma/GED REQUIRED.Active, clean driver’s license REQUIRED. Company vehicle provided.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:independently lifting equipment which can exceed 50 poundsfrequent climbing into/out of service vanable to maneuver up/downstairs, ramps, etc. at service locationscan handle exposure to weather conditions as the season dictates.JOB TYPE:   Full-time.
