Question for the car mechanic...

So we had to add air to our vehicle tire and somehow the little air nipple on the rim got broke off and all our air whizzed by our heads... this is not the first time we've had an air nipple break... I don't have to tell you what happened next... tire is off the rim now... Can anyone of you mechanics or knowledgeable people recommend a good air chuck that goes onto the nipple easily and safely without breaking the nipple? Thanks!
