***Candidate must live within 25 miles of 08723*** Jaydien Network Solutions is an established IT company and we are currently looking to add a Field Installation Technician for our low voltage installations. A minimum of 1 year experience is required, and we will be willing to train the right individual if need be. Description of responsibilities -Physically pull low voltage wire (cat5e/Cat6/Coax/Speaker Wire) in indoor office environments as well as outdoor commercial areas. -Installation of low voltage outlets including termination and testing of all low voltage connections. -Install and assemble low voltage conduit where needed. -Fire stopping and pre-termination, including organizing, forming, dressing, and labeling cables to industry standards. -Accurately test low voltage cables to required standards utilizing the appropriate test equipment. -Effectively and safely operating a wide array of hand and power tools. -Must be organized and keep a neat and orderly work van and jobsite. Must be able to communicate well with other team members and customers. Requirements -Must be able to use basic hand and power tools. -Must be comfortable with working on a ladder. -Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record. -1 Year Low voltage wiring experience. -Knowledge of the communications industry (voice, data, and fiber optics) is a plus. -BICSI Installer / Technician Certification a plus -Ability to work extended hours. -On the job training will be provided if needed.
