Local writer is interviewing veterans for dialogue clues and authentic experiences for a science fiction TV script.
Branch, service history, and tours served (if applicable) are all relevant.
The series does not seek to glorify the sacrifice and training required for service, but aims to explore the human condition via the art of human story telling to bring a grounded authenticity to viewers.
Interviews can be conducted over the phone, voice Skype, or via voice chat on Discord (social app). Interviews can be as anonymous as you like; I do not need to know your name or rank if you do not want to share the info.
A list of questions from the Library of Congress is sent to all participating individuals, but the interview will explore your personal journey.
Permission to record interviews is appreciated but not required, and will be asked at the start of the interview.
Initial calls are 10 minutes long. Follow up calls are roughly half an hour to an hour.
