Description
We are looking to rehome a lovely bearded dragon. My partner and I have raised Jekyll since he was a babe and we love him dearly. After months of deliberation we have reached the difficult conclusion that he is not living his best life under our care because we do not have the time at this point in our lives to dedicate to his enrichment. With both of us heading back to school and my partner working part time we barely have time to sustain ourselves, and Jekyll has been spending more and more time in his tank. He is a sweet boy, and will bond to you with enough snuggles. He loves to scuttle into the crook of your neck and fall asleep. He loves to explore outside of his tank but needs a space without stairs or ledges, as he hasn't figured out gravity yet, though he is five years old now.
It is incredibly sad for us to give him away but what's worse is leaving him in his tank. If you are interested please email us about yourself, any other pets you may have, whether or not he would be handled by small children, and any details on your experience (if any) with reptiles and/or beardies. He will come with all supplies needed, including his 50 gallon tank, but honestly a bigger tank would be best for him. We will require a thorough description and proof of his home situation, and what kind of life he would have under your care, as we do love him dearly.
Additionally we will require a signed agreement that if you someday choose to rehome him or sell him you will send him back to us and nobody else, so we can be absolutely sure of his welfare. Serious inquiries only please.
A $150 rehoming fee will be required to adopt Jekyll to confirm your intentions to take excellent care of him. He comes with many supplies, his tank and lights, as well as a dubia roach colony (if you want them).
