Taking care of yourself is not always in just black and white. Yolanda R. Prince knows this firsthand and wants to let the world know it. Her health challenges eventually led to open heart surgery. Since then, she has been on a mission to advocate and educate people with events such as this Hats and Heels for Healing Tea by joining forces with local organizations, community leaders, and healthcare professionals. Start the new year off right with "Not Just Black and White: New Year, New Perspectives on Black Family Health". If you have ever wondered what can I do to help my family, my community, my environment be a healthier place, this first in a series of tea talks is for you. Come out and listen to a phenomenal Speaker, Holistic Health Coach and Advocate, Practitioner Michelle, as she delves into the complexities of Black healthcare and using Holistic Services to support the black family. This series will explore topics such as Heart Health, Emotional Support for Family Caregivers, Elder care, Parasympathetic Activation and Healthy Children through guest speakers, panelists and practitioners.
