6-year-old Dachshund looking for home with another Dachshund

I'm fostering a 6-year-old dachshund that needs a wonderful home with another Dachshund. She prefers her own breed, and we are being picky about who we adopt her to, as she is very skittish and was caged most of her life. She's in good health, has current vaccinations, but will need her teeth done. She is very shy of people, and will need someone to work with her, she doesn't bite at all and is not aggressive. Would do best in an adult only home that is quiet, and has another Dachshund. She is a little bit overweight, which is common with the breed, and she will need to go on a diet. There is a rehoming fee, references and meet and greet required. For consideration please email us with some information about yourself in your home, as well as any other pets you have.
