Tom Petty tribute looking for a lead guitar player to play Mike Campbell's parts. Looking for someone with a lot of stage experience, great gear, and some vocal ability. We are a new tribute project, but all the members are well established in the Denver music scene. We have over an hour of material ready to go, and lots of offers and opportunities on the horizon. If you are interested, you must have: 1. Good gear ie: Fender Telecaster, Strat, or Les Paul, and a good, tube amplifier and speaker cabinet. 2. Reliable transportation. We rehearse in Littleton near Wadsworth and Bowles. If you live too far away, don't respond. 3. Good stage presence and look, with a willingness to "dress up" for gigs. 4. The ability and willingness to learn the lead parts correctly. People want to hear Mike Campbell's solos, not yours. 5. No drug or alcohol issues. 6. Video links of your playing. If you don't have any videos of you performing, you probably don't have the experience we are looking for. Sorry if this sounds a little preachy, but we've placed this ad before and have gotten plenty of interest, but when it came time to actually learn the songs and schedule auditions, the candidates started to drop like flies.
