Singer and Guitarist Seeking Musicians for Indie Band :)

Hey! I’m a queer, leftist, Black musician and I’m looking for likeminded people to play music with. I have been writing songs for years but have just recently begun playing open mics. I am interested in playing shows with a full band. I’m looking most desperately for a bassist and drummer. Guitarists and keyboardists are also welcome - I would be into splitting guitar (and occasionally keyboard) duties or even just being a two guitar band. I want a band that is collaborative, respectful, communicative, and calm. I have a distinct idea of what I want some of these songs to sound like fleshed out, but there are others I am still trying to figure out and looking for input on. I’m ideally looking for queer and trans people of color, but others are welcome to apply as long as they are allied to these communities and will be self-aware of how they take up space. Japanese Breakfast, Snail Mail, Angel Olsen, and Weyes Blood are some of my absolute favorite writers and musicians. I have so much love and respect for truly all genres of music and would like to work with people who do as well.
