Long term part time babysitter

I’m looking for regular long term childcare for my boy girl twins (turning 8 Jan 2nd) starting ideally the second/third week in January. We live in South Durham, and the kids recently lost their other mom unexpectedly (she died last week). I am looking for someone to pick them up from school (they are in second grade), bring them home in the afternoons, and play with them, and possibly start dinner prep. The hours would be 2pm-6pm, weekdays…. and we’d strongly prefer someone who would be open to a long term arrangement if it proves to be a good fit on both sides. 3+ years of professional childcare experience required. Applicants should be comfortable providing at least 3 references, completing a background check, and providing proof of COVID-19 vaccination(s).
