Newly hatched silkie chicks available perfect in time for Christmas. Currently have 3 dark grey and 1 mixed dark grey/red, more to probably hatch in the upcoming days. Some hens and a rooster are also pictured, last pictured is the hen currently keeping the chicks safe and warm. New pictures of the chicks soon. This is the 3rd time our hens have hatched chicks, you may have even seen a similar post earlier in the year. All are eating medicated chick starter and drinking water. They will need to be inside until all of their feathers have come in, under a heat lamp indoors is what we find the most successful. Research the breed before you message me, these are smaller non-waterproof-feathered chickens that require more protection as well because of their size. They are amazing companion birds but they merge into the flock easily. Feel free to ask me any questions you have.
