Description

If we all learn and work together, we can make a difference in the world! In this four-part series, youth are invited to join us to learn about climate change, what it means, and how they can make changes in their home and community to change the trajectory of our planet. From November through May, students will be invited to attend this workshop series to learn from experts, gain valuable knowledge, and be advocates for their future. For part two of this four-part series, we will have a guest speaker from Sunrise Movement Durham and will begin discussing how youth can make a difference with regards to climate change. Participants can join in this four-part series at any time -- participation in previous sessions is not required. Recommended ages 12-17 years old. This program will take place at the Museum of Life and Science's South Side, which is located across the street from the main museum. Pull into the parking lot across the street from the museum (there is a three-story parking deck next to it that you can't miss), and someone will be waiting to greet you.
