I'm interested in any format except hard rock, metal or punk.Seeking drummer for classic rock band. We play a variety of mostly 60's/70's rock songs and practice Thursday evenings in Warren. We are currently just jamming, but have the goal to play occasional gigs. I own pro gear, have a pro attitude and can provide some backing vocals if required.The gratiot pub on 14.5 and Gratiot (34005 and S Gratiot) has an open jam every Wednesday and Thursday from 8-12PM and every Sunday from 7-11PM. I am the drummer in the house band the Ray Gunn group and we play rock, funk, fusion, rockabilly you name it! If you want to come and sit in it is a friendly atmosphere and they have free snacks and sometimes full on free full meals for everyone! please come on out and bring your sticks or guitars although there are sticks, guitars and amps available already. Maybe the bass needs to be brought on Wednesday but not the other 2 days. They also have a smoking room as well.Mid 40s bassist looking for a fun cover project. I have my own transport, all my own gear, and a bit of gigging experience. My favorite band is Rush and my favorite guitarist is Alex Lifeson. Looking to see if there would be anyone interested in starting a Rush tribute band and also writing some of our own stuff very much in the style of Rush. It would be rad to have a power trio, but I don't sing, so I'm open to having a dedicated vocalist and maybe even a synth player too.
